Q.
I see there is a "Default Address"
for my e-mail. What is it for and what does it do? |
A.
Your default email
address will capture any email sent to your domain name with a
username that does not already exist. For example, if you emailed
fred@yourdomain.com
and there is no email address setup for this
person, it will be delivered to the default address.
From your control panel, you
can set the default address to be any address that is currently
created on your account.

Q.
Can I use any other type of e-mail
program? |
A.
Almost all industry standard email programs will work with our mail
service. We use both the industry standard POP3 protocol as well as
SMTP. The general settings should work in most programs.
Follow this link to
see instructions on setting up your Microsoft Outlook Express e-mail
An example
of email software that will not work is AOL mail software which comes
with the AOL service. It uses its own protocols and does not allow the
addition of other mailboxes.
