Q. I use Microsoft Outlook Express for sending and receiving my mail.. Can I use this mail client to retrieve messages?

Yes of
course..Setting up Microsoft Outlook Express is quite easy and can be
done automatically or manually. To automatically setup Outlook Express, simply follow the following steps: 1) Logon to your control panel www.yourdomain.com/cpanel 2) Click on the "Mail Menu" 3) Click on "Add/Remove Accounts" 4) Click on Outlook (Express) AutoConfig link next to the email address you wish to setup 5) Follow the prompts, and then restart your Outlook Express To manually setup Outlook Express, follow the steps below: 1) Open your Outlook Express and go to the "Tools" menu and Click on "Accounts" 2) Click on the "Add" button and select "Mail" 3) Enter in the name that you would like to have displayed on your outgoing email, and click "Next" 4) Enter in the email address that you are setting up and click "Next" 5) Leave the option at the top set to POP3 6) In the "Incoming mail" (POP3) field, enter your domain name in the following format: mail.yourdomain.com 7) In the "Outgoing Mail" (SMTP) field, enter your domain name in the same format as above. 8) Click "Next" 9) In the "Account Name" field enter in your email address, e.g the email address fred@bloggs.com, the logon name would be fred+bloggs.com 10) In the "Password" field enter in the password that you have assigned to this mail address and click "Next". 11) Click "Finish" Now Double click on the account that you have just added and click on the "Servers" tab. Check the box that says "My server requires authorization" and click "Ok" then "Close" You are now all set to use your Outlook Express for sending and receiving your mail.! |
